John Deregowski will serve as a teaching assistant for this course. He will hold office hours in Lattimore 534 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30. You may also contact him via email at: dere@mail.rochester.edu. In addition, Cori Ringholz (Take-Five) will serve as a Religion Fellow in this course. You will also write two short (5-6 page) papers. The first paper is to be a critical discussion of Mary Anne Warren's "On the Moral and Legal Status of Abortion" (CIB): 298, and it is due on February 19. Late papers will be accepted until the beginning of class on February 24, but they will be graded down. The second paper will be due on April 2. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
There will be two essay tests. The first will be given in class on March 5. The second, to be given in class on April 30, will cover only the second half of the course. Each of these four graded assignments will determine 25% of your grade for the course.
